내가 어렸을때엔

인생이 아주 멋진 것처럼 여겨졌죠.

기적 같이 아름답고  마법같았어요.

나무위에 모든 새들이

아주 행복하고 즐겁고 명랑하게 날 바라보며

노래 했어요.

하지만, 사람들이 날 멀리 보냈어요.

합리적이고 논리적이며 책임감 있고,

현실적인 사람이 되라고 가르치기 위해서 말이죠.

그들은 내게 세상을 보여주었죠.

믿음직하고, 냉철하고, 지적인 사람으로 살아가야 하는 세상을.

한마디로 냉소적으로 되라는 거죠.

온 세상이 잠들었을 때

질문들이 단순하기 그지없는 사람에게

너무 깊숙이 밀려올 때가 있어요.

제발 우리가 뭘 배웠는지 말해 주지 않겠어요?

바보처럼 들린다는 건 알아요.

하지만, 제발 내가 누군지 말해 주세요
